  Overall place was great, nice and clean and fully stocked with plates,cups,pans etc. check in was smooth and simple and the AC worked great at first, we had like a 2 second power outage in the 2nd to last day and the ac wasn’t the same after that. The one issue I have with this property is the elevators, they take forever t to come and they have 4 at that but other than that we enjoyed this stay.

  We thoroughly enjoyed our month in this apartment. It really was home from home with every effort made to have all the creature comforts you could want.
  The location was brilliant, only a few minutes walk to the main beaches and vibrant restaurants of Waikiki.
  The apartment block also had its own pool, gym and a great bbq space.

  We have stayed here often and booked again for next year. This is primarily due to the awesome location and stunning view. The condo itself could use a paint job and updated cooking pots & pans . The staff was excellent , fridge large and books and puzzles greatly appreciated .

  This condo was fabulous ! We spent the month here. Upon arrival the condo was spotless. It is within walking distance to the beach, has great views, and is upgraded with quartz countertops and trendy furniture! Truly a great find .

  We had a wonderful stay at Waikiki Sunset. View was amazing of Diamond Head and ocean, walking distance to the beautiful Waikiki beach. The condo was very clean an fully equipped.   The condo had just undergone a wall-to-wall renovation and was in excellent condition. The building has no dishwashers if that matters to you. We were never able to figure out how to use the TV except for Netflix; the rental agency offered to send a serviceperson, but we could not find a mutually-acceptable time for his visit. Not an emergency during a one-week stay in Honolulu!

  We stayed in an Ali'i Beach Rental condo on Paoakalani Avenue in Waikiki for 16 nights. Our experience was great; it felt more like living at home than in a hotel. We went to the Safeway for groceries and had some meals at 'home'. Check-in and check-out couldn't have been smoother. We had a short walk to the beach. The condo had everything we could ask for, including an ice cream scoop. Ali'i Beach Rental will be our first choice for our next vacation in any area they serve.
  
  One of the reasons we selected this property is the many five star reviews we read. Now back home after a great vacation in a great condo, this is my five star review. Thank you Ali'i Beach Rental.

  Rental was clean, and convenient. Bathroom wall electrical outlet was not working upon our arrival. Alii Beach rental took care of the problem after they were notified.The television in the bedroom had no remote control to turn the set on/off.

  3 adults and 2 children fit nicely. It was perfect for us, a little squishy with all of our luggage but made use of the closet and dresser. Was very clean and well kept, and fully stocked for all of our needs. There were even beach chairs and sand toys which was a nice touch. The view from the balcony is outstanding! Clear view of Diamond head along with all the morning surfers.
  The only negatives I would say is the pool- If you aren't there first thing in the am its completely shaded and cold for the whole day. A quick skip over to the banyan was a nice spot for the kids to swim and us to use the hot tub. Also the no parking pass was a bummer but Banyan also was very accommodating.

  The unit was clean and is in a great location, although it was older. We walked everywhere. The kitchen was well stocked and it had AC in the unit. We were happy to find beach chairs and noodles for the beach. We enjoyed sitting on the Lania for coffee in the morning.

  I have stayed at the Waikiki Sunset many times. Sometimes I have booked with the owner directly and sometimes I have booked through an agency. This was my first experience with Alii Beach Rentals which I liked and will use again. Their staff were responsive, efficient and friendly. I really appreciated the late check out arrangement as often flights to Alberta depart late at night.
  The apartment was somewhat dated in the decor but everything worked and everything I needed in the kitchen - utensils, pots, pans, etc was provided. Most importantly the apartment was very clean including kitchen shelves, cupboards, etc. Lots of towels and access to daily beach towels was convenient.
  Generally, the Waikiki Sunset was getting run down and still shows signs of that in common areas. I was hesitant to stay at the property this time but it shows signs of improving. The elevators are still a problem - long waits and always one elevator out of service.

  We found it to be excellent for my husband & 2 teenage girls. The little extra things found in the apt really made it - we loved the tommy bahama beach chairs so much we bought our own to bring back to NZ. We were provided beach towels, plenty of other towels too, chilly bags & kitchen had everything for us to make meals in. It was great having a lock pad on our door so we never needed to take a key to beach or wherever. Also VBRO was great - we had a early flight into Hawaii and allowed us to check into our apt early & also depart slightly later - nothing seemed to be a problem. The only complaint was my husband found the double bed abit soft for his liking but that is a personal preference. Overall we found it to be great - also had a view of ocean & the park so really good value for money & would definitely use again!

  We had a great time in the condo. It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for a 10 day stay. We have stayed at this hotel before and knew what to expect, but this experience was better. Everything needed to make meals was provided (pots and pans, dishes, rice cooker, utensils...) in a full sized kitchen. There was also 2 beach chairs and a few other beach items that were great to have. I would stay at this property again in a heartbeat. Great view and an easy walk to bus stops and the beach.

  The apartment was perfect for the 3 of us -surprisingly spacious and extremely well equipped (quality cookware) with everything required to make it feel like home. The location is ideal at the quieter end of Waikiki and only a short walk to the beach and Kapiolani Park. Tikis Bar is at the end of the street and for those seeking a cheap meal on the beachfront, the Barefoot Beach Café is about 1km away with views across the forshore to the lights and fireworks of Waikiki.
  When we had difficulty getting into the room, Ali'i's management was very helpful.

  This is the second time we have stayed in this apartment. It is in an excellent location, just few blocks from the beach, zoo and aquarium. It has everything you need to self cater and is less than 10 minutes walk to The Pantry supermarket. Bedding options were excellent for a family of 4. The apartment was clean with plenty of towels and extra bits for a day at the beach. Alii Beach Rentals are e trembly professional, prompt and efficient. Excellent customer service.

  On the whole we were satisfied with the condo, location and interactions with Ali Beach rentals. The place was clean. Had plenty of furniture, dishes and towels. We had a problem with the toilet seat but the maintenance came the very next day and fixed it. Plus if I had any questions the response was quick and satisfactory. The couch was not the best to sleep on and needs some airing but the beds were comfortable. Location was amazing as we could walk to a lot of places and the ocean was only 2 blocks away. I will definitely use it again.

  The location was great, within a couple blocks walk from the beach, shops and restaurants, property was clean, we did not require anything from the property managers during our stay and everything was provided as described plus more. We parked in the Sunset Parking lot for $20/24hour period (its public parking, but the parking attendant will give you a pass if you can provide a suite #). Condo could use some updating (new paint, flooring), but was clean and had everything we needed for our 6 days in Waikiki. Would recommend and stay there again.

  This condo was perfect for our family of 3. Bright, spacious, great air conditioning, 2 blocks from the beach, good views from the balcony. Most important for was extremely clean! Everything you need for cooking, all appliances worked very well. I didn't use the pool as the beach was so close. The management was very well organized and sent lots of information. We will definitely stay here again!

  Stayed at Waikiki Sunset for over a week, and my wife and I had a great time. Not exactly top quality, but for the rent they are charging, I can't complain!   Great family accommodation with view to Diamond Head and water views. Very clean and thoughtfully furnished with everything needed to self cater. Easy walk to groceries, beach, zoo and aquarium.   OMG! Awesome! My sister and i stayed here 8 days; The location worked out well 2 blocks from the beach; we parked in the garage of the condo but had to pay $15 per day; we were allowed to pay by the day for the parking; be sure to get a map (lots of one way streets there - the map was my best friend!) Loved the condo; it was clean with a great view of the ocean; came stocked with beach towels, beach chairs and beach umbrella in the bathroom; the grocery store (Safeway) was not far from the condo; we were next door to the honolulu zoo; loved everything about this condo! they thought of everything all kitchen appliances for cooking; clean refrigerator; can't say anything bad about it; full bed, twin bed and sleep sofa in living room. I will definitely choose 1910 again or try another one of Alii's rentals for sure; you will definitely be pleasantly surprised! Enjoy!

  The room was nice and comfortable, very convenient and close to needed stores, food locations, and shopping sites. Just a few steps from the beautiful sandy beach. The rental was fully stocked with the essentials, towels, pots, pans, other kitchen goods, also games, puzzles, and DVD's for entertainment.
  At first I was iffy about the whole rental but glad we decided to stay there. Great get-a-way home for the whole family.

  We enjoyed our unit tremendously. Sitting out on the balcony we had a great view of Diamond Head and partial views of Waikiki beach and the surfers. The lanai had plenty of sunshine and we also used the pool amenities. The unit was nice,clean and bright We would have liked parking included but reserved a spot in our building for fifteen dollars a day which was reasonable and in line with other condos. The mini mart was convenient and well stocked and the staff and the concierge. Very friendly. The only thing we would have liked was a jacuzzi and small fitness area. However, not having those items did not really affect our stay. Check out could have been a little later 11 rather than 10:30. Will be sure to stay here again on our return visit!

  We really enjoyed our stay at the Waikiki Sunset 1910. There was planty of room to relax after a day out doing our thing. Although we didn't cook, it was nice bringing meals back to the room and being able to eat at the table while enjoying views outside the patio door. The only set back was this room did not have a parking stall. We were told by the parking attendant that we need a card from the front desn to get discounted parking. The front desk said the card was only for hotel guests. Not for private condos. We ended up parking at the Waikiki Banyon across the street for $15/day. Other than that, our stay was GREAT. The 80 degree weather in December was just an added plus. Would stay here a room with a parking stall.

  We are happy to hear you had a GREAT family vacation in Waikiki! A majority of our condos do come with a parking space, like the Waikiki Sunset 2106, but unfortunately not 1910. Good to know you found The Waikiki Banyan, as we do recommend their parking garage because it is close and affordable.

  We enjoyed our stay at this condo & the location was great. We were also able to use some of the stuff such as the beach umbrella & chair which was on the apt. Ample towels & beach towels. Condo close to Waikiki beach & ABC stores. We had bathroom toilet leakage problem but the property mgmt was very prompt & took care of the problem. The place was as advertise. We had to pay for daily Parking within property although parking lot attendant thought parking should have been included in the rental since each condo is allowed a parking space. Other than that, we would recommend this place & would stay here again. Thank you.

  We were pleased with our rental of Waikiki Sunset 1910. The unit was comfortable, quiet and nicely appointed. The location was very good, close to beach and shopping. The unit was spotless, but could use some updates. The IPhone app for rental details and check in was awesome and really made it easy. Only downside was the hotel elevators, which are ridiculously slow. Thank you!

  We stayed for 5 nights and had a wonderful time. The condo is perfect for getting to the beach and shops. The pool is quite shallow but we didn't mind and it would be great for small children. 1910 is high enough up that you don't hear road noise at night and have a nice view. Really appreciated having a kitchen so we could relax and eat some meals on the balcony. Would definitely stay here again.

  Upon arrival in our condo we noticed that there were no swipe cards - Chloe was prompt the next morning in providing us with one. Also the bedroom door "squeaked" and Mike was there before we know it to oil it and it was fine. Great location and very quiet for sleeping and the black out drapes were great at night too.

  We were very happy with our rental. Very well stocked apartment. We had a 2 and a 5 year old with us and we all had a great time. We Definitely recommend this place for families with small children (and anyone else).

  The property was very clean and cozy. Felt like we were right at home. Loved internet service because it was fast. Bus stop was just a few steps away so it made it easy for us to get out of Waikiki and do some touring. The only discomfort we had was with the couch mattress it was a bit uncomfortable. Other than that we had a great family vacation in this condo.

  We walked into our condo and the first thing we saw was the ocean. Took our breath away and also had a view of Diamond Head. It was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. We went and bought groceries right away, it's very expensive there to eat out 3 times a day. So we had breakfast and lunch there and ate out at dinner. If you want to get around, rent a car. They had parking on property for $17.00 a day and was worth it. The staff at Alii was wonderful, especially Susie. She was not only professional but extremely nice and helpful. I have already convinced some of my friends the benefits of staying at condos.
  We definitely stay with Alii Beach Rentals again. Thank you very much.

  I was originally booked at another condo thru Alii Beach Rentals and was highly disappointed when 1 month prior to my 1st trip to Hawaii I was told there was damage from the above unit and I wouldn't be able to stay there. Alii Beach Rentals only had 2 other condos available for my trip and Waikiki Sunset 1910 was 1 of them. This condo did not have the free parking and washer/dryer in the unit like the other condo did but I didn't see any other choice. I arrived a little skeptical and surprisingly left feeling great! It was just my son and I staying in this 1 bedroom condo and there was plenty of room. The hotel is 2 blocks from Kuhio Beach and 1 block from Hawaii's public transportation, The Bus. The hotel is close to the zoo so it is a much quieter area but still within walking distance to the beach. We were able to walk to the shops on Kalakaua Ave, up Kapahulu Ave for food and took the bus to Safeway and Hanauma Bay. The location of this condo was perfect! The condo itself had everything I could possibly need! The unit was fully furnished from extra bedding to an ample supply of towels to trash bags, ziplock baggies and tinfoil. The kitchen had items to cook with, dish soap and the bathroom had laundry detergent and snorkel gear. The wash room was on the same floor along with the trash shoot. There was a mini mart located in the hotel and a swimming pool outside. The only downside is the futon couch was not very comfortable and could be upgraded and the full size bed and twin size bed in the bedroom was a little awkward. The lanai was great. You could see Diamondhead and had partial views of the beach from the lani. It was nice waking up to those beautiful views every morning.
