  The rental was 1 condo behind another on the 2nd level. It had a great lanai to people watch, observe some awesome sunsets, and in my case watch the rain. The condo only had a couch to sit on in the living area with an attached kitchen/table & chairs. The TV was small and awkward to watch from just couch. It would have been nice to have another chair in the living area. The bedroom had a king bed in it which seemed too big for the room. The mattress was soft but adequate. The place could use a remodel but is all functional without any perks. The a/c was nice and cool which was important to me! No dishwasher. The chair with padding on the lanai needs to be cleaned or thrown out. Rington was very nice.

  What a great location. We were just a short distance from the beach with a deck facing west for stunning sunset views. The condo was well equipped if you wanted to cook rather than dine out. We had internet and cable TV. The support staff was great and made quick work of a minor issue with the shower head. I would rent this unit again.

  As always We we’re very happy to finally return home everything the same except could tell now since we haven’t t been for 3 years that mattress still hasn’t been replaced and now not a comfortable place to sleep. Glad to see awning gone much brighter and cleaner. Thank you to Rita and staff they are always so helpful in anything we need or questions. It was a great stay awesome weather and could not imagine not having this home to come to.

  The rental was perfect for what we needed: close to the beach, close to food, and quiet enough for when we wanted to stay away from everyone. Ali’i beach rentals made sure we were taken care of and we even got beach towels and gear to use. Couldn’t ask for better at such a great price.

  We had a great week! Our accommodations were clean an comfortable. We fell asleep to the soothing sounds of the ocean waves. Our daily morning coffee and view on the large lanai was relaxing and beautiful! We walked or rode down 1 floor to walk directly onto the beach. We set ourselves up on the sand and grass area of Fort DeRussy Beach Park. We walked to Tropics bar and Grill and Rum Fire both with ocean view. Our shopping excursions were walking distance to our favorite ABC Store and through the city, with several stores to the International Market Place. We were lucky enough to pay for parking on site,which made our off site excursions easy to load and unload. We visited the North Shore, with turtle encounters, snorkeling at Sharks Cove and shrimp trucks for dinner while watching a beautiful sunset! We will recommend this condo to family and friends. We passed the driveway entry but Rington from Ali`i Beach Rentals was in text and phone communication with me to assist us with unloading and entry to condo. Mom is already trying to get her husband to take her back! We'd love to stay here again!

  This condo was a nice, clean and had beautiful view. It was a short walk to get to the beach and everything else Waikiki had to offer. There are so many bike stations close that makes it easy to get to everything. The parking is pricey anywhere there. We’re looking forward to coming back!

  The location is fantastic. The lanai has a wonderful view of Ft de Russy park and the beach, and it's relatively quiet and chill. There are many vendors and things to do right around the condo building, including a snack and gift shop, a beach bar, and surf board and kayak rentals. The condo room had everything we needed. There weren't many extras, though, like boogie boards, frisbees or beach toys. They do have three small beach chairs. The king bed was comfy and the kitchen was stocked adequately with utensils, etc. The property management company was very nice and responsive.

  Enjoyed our stay here, great location, property is a bit dated, basically had all of the amenities we needed. Close to bus stop. For those who have a late day flight time, it would be nice if there would be a place available to store luggage. Yard House nearby had a great happy hour.

  The stay was as wonderful as our prior visit. The 1 BDR is fully equipped with all the facilities and amenities that one could ask for and the location is prime! You get down to the 1st floor and Viola! If you go out the backyard, you are actually on the beach! If you walk out the front door (facing the street) you are on a busy street with restaurants, shopping malls, groceries and drug stores just a few short steps.
  My hubby doesn't usually like going to crowded places on his vacation, but with the cozy comfort that this property has allowed us to enjoy, I was able to convince him to make an exception for Waikiki Beach!
  Thank you for maintaining the property so well.
  We look forward to our next trip soon!

  Beautiful place with a great view. Countless places to eat and shop within a short walk. The beach is beautiful but not he best for swimming. I would recommend calling ahead for parking reservations. Overall a perfect place to stay!

  This was exactly what we were looking for. The location is perfect! The staff at the Waikiki Shore was always helpful and friendly. We were impressed with the security. But, again the location was perfect for going to the beach, going out and enjoying the nightlife, or just relaxing and enjoying the view from the balcony. We hardly had to use our rental car because everything is right there!

  We enjoyed our stay in this unit. It is a little dated but it met our expectations. The view from the lanai was great. Although it’s a low floor the ocean view was very good. Our biggest criticism was the bird poop! The lanai is covered with bird poop and there are pigeons nesting on the lanai. It was so bad that my wife refused to sit out there even though we loved the view.

  Loved the sunset view and location, close to great places to eat and shop. Enjoyed the Steak Shack. Lovely condo but a little tired. The swimming out front was very difficult but found the other side of the park the coral had been cleared which made walking in possible.

  Awesome stay as usual. Opening the door to our condo is like coming home again and always know we will find everything in our room is the same no surprises which makes for a stress less holiday. We know we can go to management with any issues that may come up.The room is bright and clean and so many things supplied for you including beach chairs and boogie boards. The location is amazing when you can walk out your door 5 minutes to beach. Rita and her staff are very welcoming and go beyond what is expected. They are the best!   The property representative met us in the lobby at the exact time arranged. They were nice enough to accommodate our request for an early check-in. After escorting us to our apartment, she clearly explained access procedures and other basic information about the property. The apartment had been thoroughly cleaned just prior to our arrival and everything was in good working order. We were very satisfied on all accounts.

  We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect location. The view from the lanai was beautiful. Overall this condo was exactly what we were looking for. We have previously stayed in hotels, which were great but the condo was more suited to our needs. It was great having the kitchen so we could prepare meals if we chose and the full fridge for storage. The unit was well stocked with kitchen and bath supplies and even some beach items. It was nice to have the washer and dryer to use as needed. The unit itself did have a few quirks but nothing that couldn’t be overlooked for that spot in paradise.

  We had our third stay at Waikiki Shores and love this complex. The staff at Ali’i are very accommodating and pleasant. The unit was perfect, except there were a few of the vertical blinds to the lanai missing but that wasn’t a real issue. Definitely recommend Waikiki Shores, right on the beach, literally, and using Ali’i makes it very easy.

  This condo is in a great location. We rented a car and parked in Ft. Derussy parking. We got the card for a monthly rental ($170) versus paying by the day. On a weekly rental, this was easiest option for come/go.
  
  We didn't swim in front of the condo but could have. We drove out of town each morning to the stunning beaches on the North and East shores. Then would head back to the action for dinner. This is what we were looking for (quiet and action). Great restaurants everywhere and in walking distance.
  
  The condo was nice, clean, great bed. We prepared breakfast each day and the kitchen was sufficiently stocked.
  
  Moments after we arrived first night in (after long flight) we left our room with our cell phones inside. I had only opened the door once and didn't know the code. We went down to security who quickly called the rental company (after hours so used emergency number)who issued a one time code on the spot for us to get in. Great customer service!
  
  Overall nice rental, 2nd floor was great (didn't have to use stairs). Being next to the park was nice, just be aware that its a public park so people are around quite a bit. Nothing wrong, just know its not that private resort feel.
  
  We would definitely stay again.

  Beautiful room, close to the beach, quiet in the evenings, washer & dryer in the unit, white tile floors help keep the place cool, I would definitely rent this unit again. If you have a car you need to park in a public lot.

  Waikiki Shore was a great holiday condo for us (family of 3). Check in was made super easy with Rita meeting us at the property and helping us out when we had an early flight arrival. The condo itself is perfect: large balcony with ocean views, well equipped kitchen and washer/dryer. It was the perfect spot for watching the fireworks. It’s only s few steps to the beach and the shops are just a short walk away. I would highly recommend this condo and Ali’i Beach Rentals.

  Great location on the beach. Lots of places within an easy walk and beautiful sunset view from the beach below. The management sent someone out when we were unable to connect to the internet. The connection was unsecured, which could be a problem if someone is expecting to work. The bed was comfortable, although there is a light outside the window which stays on all night and the shades are not blackout, which would have been helpful. All in all, a great week and we would rent this unit again.

  This is a great place to be for exploring Waikiki and Oahu. Turtles right outside by the jetty, birds singing all day long, even a few rainbows to be seen. On top of that, Ali’i Beach Rentals did a great job addressing our concern about the pullout couch and making it right. All around highly recommend this place.

  To start off, our flight was delayed getting us into Honolulu late. Gaby sent an Associate to meet us with the keys to the condo!! Great Service. The view was the BEST from the Lanai. Condo was clean and neat, lots of towels. The kitchen was well equipped with pots and pans, tools, silverware and other small appliances.
  I am in the furniture business so I would also say the bedroom furniture was nice quality with lots of storage. The KING SIZE MATTRESS was the best sleep ever!!! I had to pull back the sheets to see what brand and style it was, of course, it was I very nice SIMMONS BEAUTYREST PLUSH. Almost the same that I have at home. :)
  My Family of 4 had a great time, we found the condo to be so comfortable, and had everything we needed for a perfect vacation. Thank You GABY!!! you answered all of my questions on the phone and it was absolutely perfect!!

  from this one bedroom unit you can watch a waikiki sunset from your lanai or walk out your door down one floor to ground level and watch it on the beach with lawn chairs provide. Convenient location on the westside of Waikiki walking distance to Hilton Hawaiian Village and the Iliaki marina.
  Convienient to all the waikiki shops and restaurants. Manager was Fantastic.

  We have vacationed this location for a number of years and cannot say enough good about our experience there. Not really a complaint however, the laundry area could use a good deep cleaning to eliminate "dust bunnies" (a safety/fire concern and I am pretty fussy).

  The perfect base to hit the shops and restaurants. Or walk down the steps and you're on the beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The only thing that let it down was the cleanliness. The sheets appeared slept in, towels in the cupboard were damp and the cups needed a good scrub. There was some plumbing issues with the toilet and the bathroom shower needs an upgrade. These are the only reasons I have not given 5 stars. Other than that it was the ideal place, looking forward to our next stay!

  Our family of four enjoyed our stay at the Waikiki Shore condo. The location was wonderful; we enjoyed our ocean view & staying 'on the beach'. We also appreciated the condo's proximity to Lewers Street, great restaurants & shopping. The condo was clean, was well equipped, and had washer/dryer within the condo.   Great location at our preferred end of Waikiki Beach. Apartment exactly as described. Easy access to island transport, touring pickup (used the turning circle of Outrigger Reef, right next door). Lanai faces the sunset, so apartment can get hot in the afternoons - draw the blinds, turn on the airconditoning and there's no problem. The easy access to the beach and beach bars and eateries can make the apartment a bit noisy later at night and early in the morning, as people use the park for exercising. This wasn't a huge problem for us!
  Free WiFi was appreciated. We followed instructions for trash removal, and it was collected each time.
  The beach chairs that were provided where welcome on our beach days.
  Overall we could not fault our communications with Ali'i, our reception and orientation or the location and condition of the apartment. For an older apartment block, it has been very well maintained.
  Only small hiccup we had was trying to use the phone to book some local tours. We followed the instructions in the manual (being international visitors), but found that the local calls, being advertised as free, would not connect. The concierge downstairs in the lobby was friendly and helped us take care of these bookings.

  We were very happy with our stay at Waikiki Shores unit 204. (We made sure that it was actually unit #204 as some do not specify exactly which unit and that is very important). The views are better than the photos. Great location and great condition. The sofa bed was very comfortable and it had a very nice King size bed in bedroom. Everything worked great. For a group of 3+ it is the absolute best choice at a reasonable price. We would stay there again for sure!

  This is an excellent place to stay in Waikiki. It is on the beach with all beach activities including surfing, puddle boarding, pictures with parrots, restaurants, shops, etc. Large balcony with great view to ocean, park and sunset. Nice and clean place. It is only a 2nd floor, so no need to wait for an elevator. Management is responding quickly if any need.

  A fantastic location and facilities. The place was spacious, has a separate living and dining room, a full kitchen, a large balcony overlooking both the beach and the park. The sun sets right out in front of the balcony. There are a number of take out food places underneath plus board rental in front. Clean and fully stocked with beach gear.

  This location was wonderful. The view is truly what you see in the photo. It was a really centralized spot where we were close to a lot of different things. We had a nice view from the lanai. Our unit was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything you would need for cooking. The sofa bed had a very comfortable mattress. The only thing we would change would be to have some type of shade to use on the lanai when the sun came around in the afternoon. The heat made it too intense to sit out there until the sun went down, but we loved it first thing in the morning! I would not hesitate to return to this location.

  We had a wonderful stay at Wakiki Shores! The view from the balcony was breathtaking and just as the pictures depicted. The unit was clean and well-furnished! The only hiccup was the parking as our arrival was around 11 pm. However, we got it all straightened out the following morning and had no other problems. Chloe was an invaluable resource and made herself available to help with anything...even just a dinner recommendation! The space was plenty for our family of 4.   We stayed in this unit for 2 weeks and would definitely recommend to anyone. The unit was clean and met all of our needs. No need to wait for an elevator as it is on 2nd floor and the beach was practically right outside the door! The partial ocean view was beautiful from our lanai and enjoyed many sunsets from there.

  The location is literally steps away from the beach and is furnished with everything you need for the beach, except an umbrella (you can rent or beach or buy one for $20 at ABC). Based on reviews about it being 'dated' worried me a little, but I was pleasantly surprised. It's definitely not the Ritz, but it's not bad. Bed was a little hard, but everything was clean. Kitchen was well equipped for cooking breakfast, lunch, and simple dinner.
  The only word of caution is that the unit is on 2nd floor so you do get a lot of noise and the lighting shines through the curtains. Check in/out was easy. Would definitely recommend this place to 2-3 adults (it'd be tight with four adults), but ok for 2 adults / 2 kids. Hope to stay here again next year!

  Great stay at Waikiki beach at Waikiki Shore. The apartment was in a great location to explore the beach and Waikiki and people watch nearby. Whilst it was not huge for a family of 4 we managed ok and had a good time.
  
  Only thing that bothered us was the noise some nights and difficulty to get cheap parking. But it was great to be able to park downstairs for a short period of time while we got ourselves organised each day.

  This place us beautiful. While there is no frills it does have the beach right outside your door. Everyone is extremely nice and helpful. The place is clean and secured. The unit has a huge lanai that all meals can be eaten on while watching the crystal clear ocean.

  The condo was as described on the website. The condo had everything you need for your holiday and was very clean. The lanai was perfect for sitting having breakfast or a late night drink with friends overlooking the beach.
  
  As overseas travellers we think there were a couple of points the owner should look at changing:
  1. There is no safe for your passports and valuables which the other units in the complex have.
  2. The front door has to be locked (ie push the button on the handle) when you go out (not just pull the door shut as you find everywhere else you stay).
  3. As there is a light on the walkway directly outside the bedroom window, the vertical blinds do not block out enough light at night and the bedroom is quite bright.
  4. The lock on the sliding door to the lanai should be higher on the door (not at floor level) as anyone who has trouble bending down would find it difficult to lock and unlock the door.
  
  These were minor inconveniences that in no way impacted on staying in a very good condo with everything you need to enjoy your holiday. Having the extra room and kitchen made our stay much more relaxing than renting a studio unit.

  Overall our experience with the Ali'i beach rental was good.
  
  Pros:
  -right on the beach with access to all beach amenities
  -walking distance from waikiki beach and 'downtown'
  -surrouded by restaurants and easy access to food/abc stores
  -well stocked condo (beach toys for our toddler, full set of pots/pans, comfortable pull out, good size washer/dryer)
  -Supply small things (sponge and dishwashing soap, coffee filters, salt/pepper, etc...)
  -guests have 3 hour parking in front of the facility as long as they sign in.
  
  Cons:
  -No parking - there is a parking lot across the street which is close but not exactly convenient. It is also expensive. $36.00/day which is the max you can be charged per entry/exit. i.e. if you exit multiple times, you still pay a fee EVERY time.
  -No concierge service despite being in the property. In fact, we attempted to leave our car seat at the front desk when returning our rental car and they refused
  -Garbage was not picked up despite the instructions saying they are picked up between 0630-0830.
  
  Overall we were very pleased with our stay. The company was wonderful to deal with and they were very professional. The app was very easy to navigate and was so convenient with all-encompassing instructions within the app. We felt safe within the facility. We did not feel as safe with our car in the public parking. Ultimately, we would definitely come back and we have already recommended this place to our friends!

  This rental unit is the best bang for your buck in Waikiki ! The view from the balcony in incredible ! You can see the most beautiful sunsets from the balcony while having a cocktail ! I would recommend this unit to anyone, just remember it is not a 5 star resort , but very comfortable!

  When we entered 204 our jaws dropped! The picture we found online were exactly like we were seeing in person. The view was awesome and hearing the surf coming in was even better. All of the appliances worked perfectly, the shower was fantastic, and the beach toys were handy to have. It did take a phone call to the maintenance department to help with the tv but who watches tv when you are in Honolulu? The location was great for our needs - I went to work each day and my wife had great access to shopping, playing and public transit. When we return to Honolulu you will find us at Waikiki Shores 204!

  This condo was everything it promised to be. Apart from a couple of very minor maintenance issues, the apartment was perfect. Highly recommended.

  I took my father to waikiki shore to celebrate his 70th birthday. The location was so awesome! The price was a half of what you'd pay for any other property with the beachfront location. It really exceeded my expectations. This was my very first online vacation rental so was really sure what to expect, I can honestly say we were very pleasantly surprised with how friendly and helpful the staff were and how true to detail this property was from the description from their website. Would definitely stay in waikiki shore #204 again, me and my husband are already making plans to a return visit. Thank you again Chloe, Alii beach rentals. We shall be in touch soon.

  Great location, close to down town. Tonnes of great restaurants right around the corner. No need for a vehicle as the buses run rihht in front of the accommodation regularly and everything you can think of is wihin wslking distances

  Incredible ocean views,great location right in the middle of everything, very comfortable accomadations with everything we needed. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Waikiki.

  We are very happy with Ali'i Beach Rentals and highly recommend booking through them. Their quick response by email or phone makes us feel like valued guests. We love the location of the condo with the wonderful view and proximity to the beach. However the nightly disruption from the service entrance of the Outrigger directly across from the bedroom of the condo should be addressed with possibly an updated soundproof window. Everything is minutes away with Ala Moana Shopping Center being only a 15 minute walk. We used The Bus for grocery shopping and were impressed with the efficiency of the system. The only disappointing thing we found was our time flew by. Two weeks was not enough! Many thanks to Suzie and Kenyon.

  I'm a big fan of Maui and Kauai so when I booked a trip to Oahu, I was skeptical. I knew it was a city and that it would be busy. I really had my heart set on staying ON the beach not across the street. The unit at Waikiki Shore did not disappoint. Not only is it on the beach but the view was fabulous. We had a sideways view of the ocean and a facing view of the park. It is a busy beach but I actually liked the energy of it all. There is a well known pier in front of the property that is a perfect place to watch the sunrise over the city, sunset over the pacific and get great photos of Waikiki Beach with Diamond Head in the background. On Tuesday and Friday nights there are fireworks to the west. We couldn't see them very well from the lanai but the view from our beach was great. The "parrot guy" sets up every day right on front of the property too. My 8 year old son was delighted at this unusual daily greeting. The only down side was the lack of parking but that's a problem anywhere in you go in Waikiki. The property has temporary parking for up to 4 hours but to park overnight was around $36 at the nearby park. We rented a car and drove all over the island but I think next time, we'll avoid getting a rental car. This is a fabulous Waikiki property. I'd recommend it to anyone.

  Our Waikiki Shore 204 experience matched previous reviews. Great location, good facilities but some noise from the Outrigger kitchen which is directly opposite. Waterproof NFC keys made it easy to swim and not lose your keys in the sand. Good security and a great place to eat at the Steak Shack which was just down stairs along with Subway. We would definitely return.

  Aloha! We had a wonderful time in Waikiki. The Condo at Waikiki Shore 204 was perfect for us and couldn't ask for a better view of the sunsets. The locationw as awesome as it was accessible walking distance to restaurants and shops.

  Can't beat this area of Waikiki. Not as crowded as it is further down. Enjoyed being near the park, quiet and peaceful as well. Will definitely stay in this complex again if we return to Oahu. Nice section for shopping and walking, too, and easy to catch city buses there.

  Nice, clean apartment located right on the beach next to the park. The unit itself is really nice, perfect for 2-3 people. The best part is the location. You are really close to everything and being ocean front is just superb.

  Spent 10 days here and found it to be a perfect location with a well stocked condo. Washer and dryer are great to have. Lots of beach toys as well.Only minus was some noise from the adjacent hotel but they have put a white noise generator in the bedroom which helps (as does earplugs).

  We were pleased with the property and loved the location. Easy to deal with rental company. Air conditioner was a little loud, we noticed at night, but that is the only thing we would change. We had a wonderful time at this property.

  We had a fantastic time at the Shore - It's location was within walking distance to everything in Waikiki yet was next to a beautiful beach and park. Often, we ate our meals out on the lanai and enjoyed watching a few sunsets there as well.
  
  I gave the property's general condition a five despite a problem with the kitchen faucet - the handle fell off in my hand. Hope this was fixed for the next tenant (a message was left about it). As for the cleanliness of the unit, overall it was good, but the dishes needed to be rewashed and the dryer's lint trap was packed full (a sign on the dryer telling where to find it might help). Also, the vacuum doesn't pick up sand as well as scatter it.
  
  Shannon was wonderful to deal with and we'll definitely stay here again.

  Loved the condo at Waikiki Beach! Got the keys early in the day and was shown around by one of the property managers. The condo was still being cleaned, so I left to have a late lunch at Duke's and kill some time until 330pm. Very nice condo, and the view was amazing! Spent quite a bit of time on the lainai just looking at the ocean :) Having a washer and dryer in the unit was much nicer than I thought it would be! Would certainly stay here again!

  Excellent location right on beach. No pool, which was a bummer. This unit is not part of general management of Waikiki Shore, so there is no access to clean towels, etc. Also had to provide my own toilet paper during the week, which I think should be included in the price. No washer/dryer which is kind of essential at the beach! This unit does NOT sleep 4 comfortably, but would be perfect for 2. Overall it's a nice unit as long as you are prepared with the above knowledge. I would stay again if there were only 2 of us.

  Thanks for your input. We do provide 4 rolls off TP which are kept under the bathroom sink. Sounds like you may not have noticed. Also, we are a bit confused about the comment you made on the washer/dryer. It is located in the closet to the right of the refrigerator. Anyways, thanks for taking the time to review and take care!
