  I was very happy with the rental company. They responded to 2 issues right away. One of the issues as a lamp wasn’t working so they came that afternoon with new lamps. The mattress was also in n ed of replacement and they came the next day with a new mattress. We enjoy staying at this condo.

  Great, convenient location. Accommodations were as described, very nice and no surprises. Having a kitchen and washer/dryer was very helpful. Parking is a challenge, but there are options nearby.

  We have a toddler so it was important to us that we weren't having to travel for fun. Everything was right there for us. The beach, shops all of it! The room was nicer than the pictures. It did not have any beach toys or floaties just a umbrella. Plenty of Towels but bring your own detergent. Overall great

  Location was great and condo was nice. They need new mattress and the dry was broken. We did get to use a dryer in another condo once which was not enough for a 10 day stay.

We will have our maintenance team take a look at the mattress to see if it needs to be replaced, and our team has special ordered a new gas dryer for this condo. We have been informing incoming guests of this ahead of time. We are hoping to expect the new dryer in mid-March, but with all of the shipping delays it is taking longer than usual.   Had tons of hangers!!!loved it, especially since the [covid backlog] dryer had not arrived]. Ask for instructions for the AC--we couldn't turn it down or off. Uber was quick from this location. Mon-Sat 9am exercise in the park class for 40 minutes.

  To sum it up, the vacation rental experience was problem-free. Not one issue arose. Be advised that parking in general is an issue & you will pay. This property makes it clear there is no parking. Location was exceptional. Condo is getting old but still in good shape. You will be outdoors anyway. You can stay close or venture out easily. Perfect location! Comfortable for Adult parent & 2 adult children. The only reasonably priced part of your trip. But hey, it’s Hawaii and it’s beautiful! Fabulous trip. Plan any activities on-line and way in advance before you leave. Popular ones are frequently sold out.

  Condo was great for my son, daughter and myself. It had everything we needed. Can’t beat this location with easy check in and check out. This is my 5 th stay at the Waikiki Shore. This lower unit backs up to palm trees to the park and is great for people watching with nice late afternoon shade from the palm trees. I also had some flight changes, Gabi the manager was flexible about a later checkout.

  Fabulous location! Safe and secure property with all the comforts of home. The property manager met me at the property, showed me the unit, answered questions and generally got me situated. I couldn’t get the tv to work and they were very responsive...got me up and running in no time. Having an apartment vs a hotel (for me) is the only way to go. And this property’s location on the beach is a deal-clincher. Add to that the balcony that allows for relaxing times outdoors in the temperate climate of Hawaii...coffee in the morning, a glass of wine in the evening...truly paradise.

  It was everything the pictures showed! Very clean, happy for the washer n dryer! The beds could be updated! The twin was not very comfortable.   Condo was exactly as shown in the pictures online. A little on the older side but was very spacious and one of the few condos near the beach that had two beds(one was a single) plus a sofa bed. The view from lanai was so relaxing, glimpses of the water through the palm trees to the left and of the lush green grass of Fort Derussey park to the right. The beach is only fifty yards walk away and you can see the turtles come in at high tide to feed around the rock wall directly out the front of the condo complex. Although not located in the main part of Waikiki, it was only a short stroll to many restaurants, shops and convenience stores. The condo also has a full kitchen which was very well equipped if you wish to eat in. Overall the condo was great value when considering location, spaciousness and amenities and we would certainly recommend for anyone to stay there.

  Amazing place, big and bright, have everything we need in kitchen, ensuite laundry is great too. They provide enough towels and beach towels which is also great. Building is always secure, right on the beach, not as busy as Waikiki beach, which we love, next to a huge & nice park. Ali’I Beach Rentals is supper helpful and fast response with emails

  I was on vacation with my 6 year old grandson and this condo was perfect. The location is amazing, just steps from the beach. And a 5 minute walk from the main boulevard with shops, restaurants and public transportation. There were only two drawbacks. We didn't want to eat out very much but there are no grocery stores in the area. I'd rented a car so we were at least able to stop at one on our way back from the Dole Plantation the next day but that left us scrambling for food our first night there. Second, parking close to the condo is ridiculously expensive. It's $72/night unless you purchase a monthly parking pass which cost $185. Even given those two things, this is an excellent place to stay.

  Condo was exactly as advertised. Spacious. Great bed - wife and I both slept well. Kitchen was sufficient - though we didn't do any cooking. Unit's lighting was the worse part of the unit - missing bulbs, lamps that flickered and were risky to use due to loose sockets. Very good unit for the price we booked through Expedia.

  Location itself is very close to the beach which is nice. The lanai is located facing the Army Museum which has a nice view to the water. My daughter loved the open space in front of the museum to run and play. We did have issues with hearing people at late hours of the night because you're right off the walkway to the beach. Loud noises, people yelling etc. The unit itself is pretty basic, it doesn't not come stock with any helpful "extras". Not even a starter pack of laundry soap or a salt and pepper shaker, so all of those things you need to get on your own. There's no parking available onsite which was a big bummer. You can only park for 3 hours before you have to find your own parking for no less that $50 a day. The elevator takes a pretty long time to go up and down and the last day we were there it didn't work at all, which made it difficult as we were traveling with a child in a stroller. If You're looking for a fairly inexpensive, basic unit close to the beach this will be your spot. If you like a little bit more frill, something a bit more beautiful, quiet or stocked with basic essentials I would Look elsewhere.

Guests must purchase the monthly parking pass directly from the Fort DeRussy parking company and their office is located in the Hale Koa Hotel. We do provide a starter set of essentials which includes shampoo & conditioner, hand soap, toilet paper, paper towels, linens, bath towels, beach towels etc. However, we do not provide provide laundry soap or condiments.   Condo was just as described. All beds including sofa bed are comfortable. Gabi was waiting for us when we arrived at the unit, answered all of our questions and was so nice. The first morning the coffeemaker was not working so I sent a quick email. Within an hour we had a brand new one! The washer and dryer in unit was very convenient and coffee on the lanai was wonderful. What a great people watching spot! Plus, you can watch the Friday night fireworks right from your lanai - no need to fight the crowds. Plus, you are right on the beach. Plus, so close to restaurants, shopping and trolley stop. Couldn't have been more pleased with our stay. Highly recommend this unit and Alii Beach Rentals.

  This lovely condo overlooks the park and is exceptionally quiet and peaceful. The condo is very clean, smells wonderful, and the bedding is lovely. And to top all off, the staff is very helpful and extraordinarily kind. You won't be disappointed.

  The overall experience was very good. I have stayed with this company before and have really enjoyed the facilities. They were always as promised. This particular location is great, with awesome views and it is situated in a spot that allows easy access to the entire island. the only minuses were that the linen was not replaced, we had to wash our own towels. Minor inconvenience, but it would have been nice to know ahead of time. Also, the toilet paper ran out, we had to buy our own. Again, not a deal breaker.

  Possible this guest thought he was staying with the hotel rental program, but he has "stayed with this company before" so we would think he would have known that daily linen service is not provided and is not the norm in the vacation rental industry. Nonetheless, we would like to offer a daily service down the line when we have our own cleaning company.

  The room was perfect everything and then some. Upon entry I was greeted with a fresh friendly face and was given two room keys. The condo was very clean and offered boogie boards and chairs to sit by the ocean. I did t have any small kids but it did come with kids toys to be played with on the beach. Nice cold ac and a beautiful patio view. I most definitely would stay here again .

  We love staying here! It was our second time staying here and the beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, and it was right next to the beach. We liked being away a little from Waikiki beach, yet we could easily walk down to be in the crowds.

  Very large space, the style of the place is a little old and outdated, but there's everything you need. Surprisingly quiet, very large balcony, it is on the 2nd floor so no need for the elevator.
  
  The building is literally ON the beach, barely a need to go anywhere else, and shopping is a 5 minute walk away.
  
  Has 1 twin bed that is not comfortable for an adult but perfect for a child, and is on wheels, so it moves a bit, also a queen bed which is very comfortable and a pull out couch which we didn't try but it is available. Lots of pillows. Full functioning air conditioning, but we found the ceiling fans worked just as well. Full cable, washer/dryer, wifi. dishwasher.
  
  They left us only 1 dishwasher tablet which was fine, and lots of tide pods, dish soap and garbage bags.
  
  Lots of pots, pans, etc for cooking.
  
  Note: there are no condiments except salt and pepper, so you might need to bring/buy your own.
  
  Would absolutely stay here again!

  THE BEST.
  Reservation was easy and when we arrived the personal touch was great.
  Only thing that needed any attention was some mold in the tub/shower area . Took care of that {bleach} and all was perfect.
  The new beds are a great improvement.
  Life does not get any better than having breakfast or lunch on the lanai. The view is wonderful.
  Location is spot on. After all it is on the beach.
  Waikiki is a noisy place with all the sirens(First responders) but the Shore is very quite and peaceful.
  Can not praise Ali'i Beach Rentals enough.
  We have booked for next year and have also referred friends to Ali'i, that is how much we enjoyed our stay.
  Only complaint was our stay was too short, so next year we reserved for 22 days instead of 16 days.

  We had a wonderful stay at this apartment. The team was very accommodating, very prompt in answering email queries, and met us at the apartment on time on Christmas day morning! The location is fantastic, close to all amenities and with the beach as your backyard. The apartment I'd say is decent sized and fitted us (2A2C) fine. Very handy having dishwasher, washer and dryer. Car parking could be tricky, some of the building management people are not too friendly when you're not renting through the resort (nothing to do with the host though!).

  Great location and the apartment size is great. The hotel company treat you very different once they know you are a private rental but with that said the whole experience was fantastic.

  It was overall a good stay with a few small issues at first. When we arrived, the smoke alarm started beeping. After 18 hours of travel it was more than I could tolerate. The nighttime maintenance told me to handle it myself. Luckily the next day a different Maintence guy came to fix it who was extremely nice. The place isn't fancy but had everything we needed to be comfortable.

  The location can't be beaten: right on the beach and close to all the restaurants and shops you could want, yet a peaceful and surprisingly quiet spot as it looks out over the park. The apartment is older and not flash but was clean and fine for our needs. The divider that separates the bedroom from the living space doesn't go right to the floor and is not terribly solid, so it really only blocks light, not noise. We wanted to put our small kids to bed and be able to watch TV in the living space: the divider helped but not to the extent I'd expected. Had a few issues with the TV remote and the lamp in the bedroom so called the rental office: no dramas at all having someone come to fix these. Continued to have issues with the bedroom lamp (bad wiring?) but didn't bother asking again. In general the staff we dealt with were super helpful and nice. It was great having a kitchen and a space to eat breakfast. Plenty of towels etc supplied. Wifi worked no problems at all. Overall this was a great value option in a fantastic location.

  The apartment was quite spacious. We were 4 adults and didn't have problems with space. It was also well equipped, we found everything we need in the kitchen and the washer and the dryer was very handy. It was 15-20min walking distance to the convention center and 1min to the beach. There are also many convenience stores and restaurants nearby. Overall we had a great time and comfort. Thanks again the nice and helpful Ali'i beach rental team. Mahalo!

  This review is for Unit 218. Thanks to Nicole all arrangements at Waikiki Shores went smoothly. She met us when we arrived and escorted us to our condo. Although it is not updated as some are, the condo was very clean and well equipped. There were also 2 beach chairs as well as a child's. We enjoyed having many meals on the lanai and could see sunsets and fireworks from there as well. The mattresses were brand new and very comfortable. The location of Waikiki Shores is great since it is right on the beach as well as being located in the heart of shops and restaurants. We only rented a car to tour the north shore one day and the Kapolei area another day. The condo is very spacious for a studio, and the room divider is a nice feature. We would definitely like to stay there again if we return to Oahu.

  We stayed for 37 days and have re-booked the same for 2017. The beds need replacing and a vacuum would be great. Hope, when the two twin beds are replaced , that they are replaced with 2 twin beds, really like that configuration. Location is better than great. It is quiet but still close to the 'action'.
  Being on the beach was fabulous as we do not like to walk to far at a time(bad knees).
  Best recommendation We can give is we rebooked while still at the condo.

  We loved staying in this condo, the location was perfect. We were able to walk everywhere so we didn't need to rent a car. The condo has little kitchen that was perfect for preparing breakfast and lunch - which saved us money because then we only paid for dinner at a restaurant. My only complaint about the condo was the beds. The two twin mattresses need to be replaced and the sofa mattress was horrible. It was way too hard in general but the worst part was feeling the coils while sleeping. But honestly, even with the bad beds it was worth staying there.

  The whole experience of renting this unit was well organized from start to finish. Chloe was fantastic to deal with and Alii Beach rentals office staff was also great to deal with. The unit was in the back of the building, but that didn't disappoint one bit, because the view was beautiful from the deck area.

  Unit 218 is all it describes. The condo is located right on the beach. You are not in the hustle and bustle of Waikiki but are only a 5-10 minute walk to everything. Unit 218 furniture is outdated and the lamp where the twin beds are was broken but repaired. Its a no frills condo as far as décor but it is EXTREMELY CLEAN and it has everything you will need. I know roaches tend to be a problem in Hawaii but we never had any type of bug problems. Our lanai table was broke and a few of the chairs were ripped, I called Chloe and she had someone bring out a whole new patio set the next day, she was VERY HELPFUL! There are lots of restaurants (Denny's/Yard House within a 3 minute walk. Yard House restaurant/bar stays open til 1:30 am (later then most bars in Waikiki). The hotel next door has Karaoke right and its open and right on the beach. On site is a shopping store for souvenirs/Subway/2 little fast food type places to get Teriyaki/different types of food etc. and shaved Ice. The food was AMAZING! Also Beach rentals at your doorstep. The worst part was parking, we spent LOTS in parking and should have got the Monthly parking pass for $150.00 (parking is across the street). We had a handicapped placard and you DONT get any special treatment there; just 2 additional hours free. We stayed there for 9 days and were NOT DISAPPOINTED is any way. The lanai (patio) is super long and ours faced the Army Museum (a must go to and its FREE) and part of the park. It was nice to sit out there at night and watch all the people walk by. You wont be disappointed with this rental and we cant wait to go back and book a larger room.

  I really enjoyed my stay and loved the location. Far enough to be away from the hustle and bustle but still so close. Met some lovely people and really liked that it wasn't a big high rise. The beds could do with an upgrade. Single beds are just too small for adults. Overall really loved Hawaii and the area and would go back in a heartbeat.
