  We love the location, great building for walking in Waikiki, or bussing as the bus stops right in front of the building. Some people might find the location noisy as there is a lot of street noise.
  We like the corner unit as it is a true one bedroom unit. We enjoyed being able to see the ocean and the lanai was perfect to view the Friday night fireworks.
  The agency does not have an office in the building but this did not make a difference to the service we received. Contactless checkin was simple with the easy to follow instructions that were supplied. Every contact we had with the agency received a prompt and courteous reply. We brought to their attention that we were finding the couch really uncomfortable. Within a day or two someone came and checked it out and within a week we had a new replacement.
  As in all rentals the equipment in the kitchen may vary. We asked for a salad bowl and a large pot. The salad bowl was supplied, the pot was not.
  This unit had little things that I appreciated, lots of hangers in the bedroom closets, a step stool ( needed to reach the upper kitchen shelves), and a small clothes drying rack on the lanai.
  Property was clean, well managed, great location if you do not need to be right on the beach, and the building being a mix of full time residents and rentals was quiet.
  We would use this company again as it was a positive experience
  If your stay is longer, would recommend that you get a bus pass as the transit system is very good. Also, visitors can get a library card.

  I have stayed at the Royal Kuhio at least five times, always for a month. This year's unit was my favorite by far due to its spaciousness. Any concern was handled quickly by staff, within the day it was reported. All'i staff, both office and maintenance were professional. I felt that the Royal Kuhio property had been upgraded since I had last been there and that the attitude of the people who work in the building was much more aloha in feeling. I can definitely recommend it. We go everywhere by city bus and having the stop in front of the building is an added plus. The unit had the most comfortable sofa bed I have ever used. Only one suggestion for the unit - a shade needs to be added to the kitchen window.

  Our stay at the Royal Kuhio was very pleasant. There is some street noise but that is to be expected in Waikiki. The kitchen was well equipped as we like to cook. The apartment was as described. Very comfortable and well furnished. The parking space was a blessing. The management was great. Whatever you needed they were there. Would recommend Alii Beach to anyone. Looking forward to our next stay.

  Great stay, this condo is very well located. We did enjoy the space, 1 bedroom, kitchen, living room and very nice balcony over looking the ocean from the 24th floor. We also had our own parking space in the garage. Condo was clean and had plenty of towels, sheets for the 2 of us. Excellent host Rita and Gabby. We stayed 38 days and we would do it again with no hesitation.
  Recommended without hesitation.

  Every year we used this property , good location , good views and safety.

  Very clean but needs some updating.
  The double bed was very hard and the curtains in the bedroom didn't fit - thin and far too short. From 5.30am the bedroom has the sun streaming in so a sleep in is very difficult.
  The dishwasher is so old the prongs have broken off and rusted so not sure how healthy this is.
  The blender does not have a lid so needs replacing.
  It has a great position but even though it is on the 24th floor it is still very noisy at night and early morning when the garbage trucks are working.
  Parking is great but the spot would not be good with a big vehicle as there is a huge pylon in the way.
  It is very easy to access the unit with a code but I felt quite insecure with no chain lock on the inside - can anybody access if they had the code previously?
  Apart from these things the unit is great and very clean. The building is great but pool area is being refurbished and they have now said will not be finished until at least September.

  Cute, clean little condo smack dab in the middle of Waikiki. Nice view and very secure. Free parking and full size kitchen were a huge, money saving plus!

  The accommodations were just perfect. Having a separate living room bedroom and kitchen is so much better than being cramped in a hotel and it is a fraction of the cost if nearbye hotels. The location was perfect. And the rental company could not be easier to deal with or more accommodating

  The building is in the heart of Waikiki near all thebest shoping, dining, entertainment, and recreation. The unit is spaceouus, clean, and the kitchen is fully equiped. A great location and a nice apartment with everything you need for a fraction of the cost the two adjacent hotels charge for a lot less living space. The free secured parking alone is worth $30.00 a day.That is the going rate in Waikiki. Booking with this company is a snap. Access instructions were simple and flawless. I had a sink problem and their maintainance man fixed it shortly after I called to report the leak. Public transportation and bike rentals are steps from the front door. A one block walk to the beach and a nice stroll to the park. Location Location Location. This is it.

  No problems although TV control is difficult to decipher and balcony had empty air-con box on it as new air-con appears to be in process of being installed. Agents should leave salt & pepper and possibly some cooking oil. Previously in this unit we left salt & pepper and tea.

  This condo was perfect for our family of 2 adults,1 infant. The condo is exactly as described, as of this review they have updated the couch and lamps. Check Yelp for photos.
  
  CheckIn: Checked in around 11pm and followed the instructions without issues. Keep in the mind the "key" for building access is not a key, its more like a dogtag. The elevators ran smoothly, the security guard was friendly and the lobby was very clean.
  
  Location: Centrally located with a short walk to the main shopping area/beach. We walked to Kuhio Beach Park and it took maybe 15 mins with a baby. Other days we walked along the waterway where it was a little more quiet.
  
  View: AWESOME! Can see Diamond Head from the kitchen and Ocean from balcony.
  
  Noise: Very noisy day/night, with two bars directly across the street and the tour buses stopping nearby, the echo is pretty loud. It didn't bother us too much and didn't wake our daughter, we are used to the noise. But yes, be prepared to hear people yelling, sires, buses, etc.
  
  Condo: Perfect setup for us. The two beds in the room was great, although there was only one curtain in the room, which made it very bright in the morning. We hung a sarong to try to block out the light. The toilet/shower is separate from the sink so we liked that as well.
  
  Kitchen: Had everything I needed to cook dinner, we were here for 8 nights and with a baby who went to bed around 5:30pm!! So I was able to cook dinner, however I recommend a new cutting board. Bonus: there is a Ross so close, you could buy anything you needed for the kitchen if you really needed it. We left some beers in the fridge for the next guest, I hope they left them for you. ;-)
  
  Parking: very easy and so convenient.
  
  Wifi: had no issues streaming Netflix, Hulu, or Amazon!
  
  Suggestions: Cleaning Supplies like Clorox, 409,or Windex

  The rental was in a great location and had all facilities that were required, building itself is a little old as are most in Honolulu so this was expected.
  
  The condo itself felt a little too crowded, probably had too much bulky furniture for the space, there was no need for 2 side tables along with a coffee table so it felt small however I know it was not.
  
  Windows were hard to get to and open but all in all was very well equipped and was exactly what we needed.
  
  Water pressure was wonderful and lighting was nice and bright in bathroom space, not ideal in bedroom.
  
  Property was clean and all in all I really enjoyed my stay.

  Stayed here in August. Yes the unit is dated but it is very clean.This is a roomy condo and we enjoyed being able to have our own breakfast supplies and being able to come back to the condo with our supplies for lunch and being able to sit at a table to eat. the bus stop is right outside the door and it was a quick walk to the beach. Will definitely recommend to friends and hope to return again soon.

  Building itself is older compared to other places we stayed out in the same area.
  
  Pros: Great to have a parking spot in the heart of Waikiki area without paying extra. The view from the 24th floor was great. It was also high enough that we barely hear the street noises from the bustling main street.

  Great location very convenient to shopping areas and restaurants.
  But the unit is small it is not comfortable if 4 poeple are staying in the unit. The cabinets smells bad already maybe because the unit is old.

  This was a great property to stay in for our visit to Hawaii. The view was great and the room was clean. The sofa bed was not the greatest, but our young kids slept there and were fine with it. I wouldn't suggest anyone bigger than a 5 year old sleeping on it though. There were plenty of dishes and glassware for our needs. We didn't do a lot there besides sleeping so it was good. The only complaint I would have was that the bathtub wasn't functional as a bath. We could only shower. We usually bathe our kids so that made it a bit more difficult. Overall it was a great place and a fantastic location. I would definitely stay here again.

  This is our second stay in this unit, 3rd in the building and we would definitely come back. Nice street and ocean views, bus is right in front and the beach is a short walk away, along with restaurants and shopping. We like this unit and the space it provides us, as well as the kitchen, which comes equipped with everything you need to cook a meal when you don't feel like going out and fighting dinner crowds. The updated kitchen tap and couch were a welcome surprise and we hope to see more updates in the future. We are looking forward to renting this unit again in the future.

  Stayed at 2408 from January 11 2016 to January 29 2016.
  This one bedroom was perfect for what we needed. It had a beautiful ocean view, close to everything in Waikiki. This building has 24 hour security, the pool was heated, which we enjoyed. The kitchen is equipped with pretty much everything you would need for cooking. Two closets and a dresser in the bedroom. Bedroom and living area are carpeted. Had a wonderful time in beautiful Hawaii, and for sure will be back for another holiday. Aloha!

  The condo was quite comfortable with everything needed for a relaxing place to stay after spending hours of visiting and touring the local beaches and tourist attractions. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend this condominium to friends and family traveling to the Honolulu area. The condo was in the most perfect location. A 10 minute walk to the beach and close to all local tourist locations. I was pleasantly surprised and couldn't have been happier with the location and accommodation.

  The condo was as we expected, all item for a good vacation was there except there was no welcome file to had in the condo.
  This we considered a very bad for first time users, so please make one up and put it on the table for all your clients.
  Apart from that the condo was clean and in the right spot to go anywhere.

  Our stay was nice and the rental was reasonable for the size and location. Our unit was in fair condition. The air conditioning unit leaked and saturated the lanai twice. We had to monitor and pour off the water ourselves. Twice we had to call maintenance to wet vac the lanai. They came promptly. However the air conditioning problem was just a matter of a run off hose not being long enough but nothing was ever looked at. Otherwise our stay was very nice.

  Location is excellent as it is right in the heart of Waikiki.We usually park the car back to the condo after sight-seeing the island. It is very difficult to find a parking space in Waikiki.
  The place is clean but some furniture needs to be updated especially the sofa be. We were very surprised after we found the previous guest stuck and hid the dirty blankets and bed sheets inside the sofa bed. Fortunately, we found the extra clean sheets in the bed room closet so no problem with it. We didn't blame the cleaning person as she may not know there was dirty sheets hidding inside the sofa. We just advised you to tell all the guest to take off the dirty bed sheets in the laundry basket for the cleaning guys. Then it won't surprise the next guest.
  Kitchen is small but fully equipped. There are 3 elevators in the building but sometimes need to take long wait.
  Overall we are happy with where we stay and highly recommend our friends to us Aliibeach rental.

  Very clean rental unit complete with everything I needed including beach chairs and beach towels! Although the furniture and kitchen cabinets are dated, they were in very good condition. The building is secure with a guard at the door 24hours per day and a gated garage. We enjoyed 2 meals per day on the lanai and looked at the amazing view while dining. The parking was a huge bonus. It gave us the ability to see the whole island and park hassle-free at the end of the day. I used to live on Oahu and the location of this property combined with the parking, price and amenities were well worth it. My only recommendations for the unit are to add oven mitts, a baking sheet (we made pizza one night) and streamline the mobile app. It took me a while to keep finding the code to get the keys. Thank you so much for a wonderful visit. I will definitely use your rentals again when I come back!

  We really enjoyed the location of this condo and loved the views from the lanai. Other than a minor plumbing issue, we had no complaints about maintenance after that. There were lots of dishes and utensils, but were lacking tea towels, so bought our own. It would be nice to have better quality beach chairs, but we don't think that's a deterrent from wanting to stay in this unit again. It was wonderful to have dual air conditioners, but they were hardly used, due to the breezes from all the windows. We loved it! Mahalo!

  Our maintenance is on any issue you might have during your stay! The beach chairs are left from previous guests for you to enjoy, not all units have beach items, but we are glad you got to use some for your vacation.

  One bedroom condo is located in the corner of the building on the 24th floor with a great view of the ocean. This allowed cross breezes to flow through the rooms, reducing the need for AC as often. The condo is well equipped with management even supplying us with a brand new phone to replace a much older model. While the kitchen is small, it has everything you need to cook complete meals of all types. The furniture could use an update, but all of it was quite adequate and clean. We spent a month enjoying virtually perfect weather as we travelled around the island in a rented car on day trips. You cannot beat Hawaiian hospitality and we would definitely rent the same condo on a return trip.

  Our third time using Alii Beach Rentals... Royal Kuhio 2408 we stayed for 2 weeks with our girls 4 and 8 years old. We always like staying at Royal Kuhio as it is very convenient with everything... Very secure building... Security 24hrs.. Free parking is a plus... 2408 fits us 4 perfectly, very comfortable and beautiful ocean view... this was the best unit we had. my children loves the pool and the kids playground.... We had a wonderful time in Hawaii and Mahalo to Alii Beach Rental team.. We are comming back to Hawaii in January and already booked in Royal Kuhio with Alii Beach Rentals...

  Very nice, quite a few blocks from the beach, but the view of the ocean was great. Was very comfortable. Husband didn't like the elevators taking so long, but you will have that anyplace.

  The condo was clean and neat. The rental agency was very kind and let us leave our bags in the condo as we had stayed in a larger condo in the same building when we had more family with us earlier in the trip. We didn't have any options regarding storage for our bags and food. The check out time from one condo was 10:30 am but the check in time for your condo was 3:30pm.the earlier condo was larger but not nearly as clean. We would recommend a new sofa bed. The sofa was some what comfortable but the bed was not.

  The location was great! Central to all the spots in Waikiki. The gym was a little outdated (unable to use it as some machines had missing pieces), but the condo itself served its purpose...clean, nothing fancy, but comfortable. And for the price, it's a great choice!

  This is a lovely condo with a view of the ocean, however it's dated and the bed is extremely firm. The shower curtain needs to be replaced as it is mildewing along the bottom

  Our stay at the Royal Kuhio was amazing. The location was awesome because it's close to all the restaurants, shops, and the beaches (Waikiki and Ala Moana!) The place was very clean, although outdated. The view from our place was fantastic, facing the Waikiki Beach and the Diamond Head! WOW! They also provided beach towels, chairs and beach umbrella. We wish that they would also provide snorkeling gears and boogie boards for the beach! Overall, it was perfect! We will definitely stay here again!

  My wife's family and I stayed here for a week in late May 2013 and found just about everything agreeable, particularly the location and the view (breath-taking). Some of the plumbing fixtures could stand to be updated (namely the shower head and kitchen faucet), but it wouldn't deter me from staying there again. Loved the place!

  Great place, in a great location. Our room was very clean with a fantastic view. Each condo in the Royal Kuhio comes with free parking. Price beats any hotel. I definitely would definitely recommend this condo.

  The location was right in the middle of Waikiki and close to all. 2 blocks to the beach and LOTs of shopping.

  This was not our first stay at the Royal Kuhio but the first time with renting through Ali'i Beach rental. They were very helpful, even if there was probably an error in my email address for sending us our rental kit with the info on opening the little safe for our condo key. But we called them at our arrival and they gave us the code, so no problem. Everything was perfect after that.

  the condo was close to everything. food, shopping the beach! for the price that I paid, it was worth every penny! the condo was clean and it had everything that we needed. the location was perfect. this is not a 5 star hotel, if it was you'd be paying 2-3 times more for your stay. the view was too bad either :) overall we were very satisfied and we would stay here again and would recommend this place to others.

  We had a really great time over the Royal Kuhio during our visit to Waikiki. It is centrally located and provides for all the needs while staying in Waikiki. No regrets, will stay there again when returning to Hawaii.

  The location was just how we wanted it. The views and the proximity to shops and the beach was just right. I wish though that it could have been closer to reasonable cost of supermarket stuff. We had a great time. Thank you
