  Good position, nice little walk to the beach. Plenty of coffee shops and food available closeby. Had its own Mini-mart, well stocked and convenient on the 6th floor.
  Good laundry, excellent pool and spa (very clean every day)- didn't try the sauna or small gym areas. Room was basic but clean and adequete eating and cooking facilities. Balcony sliding door needs some maintenance. Plenty of linen, and beach stuff to use. The lifts ran very well for the 43 floors it had to service. Staff were friendly and helpful.

  We were happy with the location, value, cleanliness, safety and on-site parking. There were some minor negatives, but we would stay here again. The online photos are accurate. The studio was very clean and comfortable although a bit old and outdated. It was roomy enough for two people. The beds were very comfortable but there needs to be a variety of pillow firmness to accommodate different types of sleepers. The AC unit is so loud on the high setting that we could not hear the TV. The Eco setting was quieter and worked for sleeping. We found the AC instructions in the nightstand on the last day of our stay. An information binder would be helpful. There is a full-size refrigerator with the microwave on the top of the frig. A step stool would be handy for short people. We had a problem with the kitchenette faucet head detaching that appears to have happened before.
  
  The building is a combination of condominiums and hotel rooms, which could get confusing. Island Colony is the condo component and Aqua Skyline is the hotel. The building is old, as are most condos in Waikiki, but it is clean and well-maintained. The building is quieter than being on busy Kuhio Ave. The building is a convenient 5-minute walk to the International Marketplace or 6-minute walk to the Royal Hawaiian shopping center.
  
  Parking was confusing. It would have been helpful to have detailed parking instructions available before check-in. Parking is $40 per day, plentiful and attached to the building. The price is in the normal range for the area. The entrance and exit gates to the parking area are on a steep, 40-degree ramp. Pull a ticket and park. Before departing, pay the parking fee in the lobby, which gives you another ticket. To exit, you must scan BOTH your original ticket and the paid parking ticket at the exit ramp. You can purchase parking for more than one day at a time. No discounts.

  Based on my expectations since i was aware of the building being older, we were pleased with the room and overall experience. From the simplicity of first booking the room through check in and during the stay we had no problems. The building has a little store and was very convenient. The building is easy walking distance to food, restaurants, entertainment and the beach. We always saw maintenance and cleaning people cleaning the public areas around the pool and barbecue area.   The property is as pictured. The location is excellent. The building is old and it shows somewhat. This unit is clean but it is tired. The bathroom in particular needs an overhaul. The balcony, view, pool, hot tub and bbq area is what makes this a good place to stay as it's central to everything. The only real downside is that owners may smoke in their units and it can be invasive, particularly considering the choice of smoke. Would be nice if it was a non-smoking building. I will stay there again!

  I love the place. The view from the balcony is so awesome. You get to see both sides of the mountain and a bit of the ocean view.
  But I just wish that they have a better shower head. As well as some lights in the balcony.
  
  Secondly, the parking that was initailly emailed to me was $35/ night. When I got there, it was $40 and night. I just wish us well that the parking fee was included. In the whole entire scenes, we were renting it or staying in it for more than three days. There shouldat least have incentive or discount for it. Otherwise, the place is very accessible and walking. Distance to the beach and to the stores and the main roads.

Regarding the parking fee, we let all of our guests know ahead of time that parking fees can be subject to change without notice, and while we strive to provide accurate information, sometimes the rates are adjusted by the parking facility.   I love the place. The view from the balcony is so awesome. You get to see both sides of the mountain and a bit of the ocean view.
  But I just wish that they have a better shower head. As well as some lights in the balcony.
  
  Secondly, the parking that was initailly emailed to me was $35/ night. When I got there, it was $40 and night. I just wish us well that the parking fee was included. In the whole entire scenes, we were renting it or staying in it for more than three days. There shouldat least have incentive or discount for it. Otherwise, the place is very accessible and walking. Distance to the beach and to the stores and the main roads.

  This place is an excellent choice for a location close to the main shopping district, which is a very reasonable walk, in Waikiki but still have plenty of privacy if you wish to lounge by the pool. The balcony features views of a golf course, the canal, pool and deck, and partial ocean views. Perfect for that morning cup of coffee!
  The room was very clean, kitchen equipped with everything my sister and I needed for our Sister Vacation. Parking garage is located on the first 5 levels with plenty of space if you choose to rent a vehicle during your stay and easy to enter/exit. Laundry/pool located on 6th floor with water fill station and ice machine.
  This was a perfect place for our vacation and we look forward to coming back!

  The unit was just as described in the photos. It was very clean, well stocked with towels and beach towels. Starter supplies of tissue, garbage bags, dish soap and shampoos.   This condo is in the perfect central location in Waikiki. The beds were comfy, lots of towels were provided, and the condo was clean. It was nice to have access to a microwave and full-sized fridge, as well as a lanai. The property management was very communicative, and the process to check in and out was quick and easy. The only downside to this condo was that the shower temperature control was a bit off. Sometimes the water temperature would change between hot and cold while showering without touching the temperature control knobs. Otherwise, it was a good place to stay for a few days in Waikiki!
