  Rental was as described. Great views of the harbor and Honolulu. The place overlooks the courtyard, which has live music/hulu certain nights of the week. There are several food/drink options within walking distance (central Waikiki approx 15-20min). The property itself has a great poke place and Pesca at the very top is fun for HH and has an incredible view. The rental was clean and hosts responsive.

  The room was excellent! I loved the view and everything was so perfect! I wish the recliner actually reclined but otherwise that is my only complaint. Kitchen is great! Had everything you need. The bathroom is perfect and the bed its very comfortable. Would def stay here again. Once again the view is amazing.

  I've stayed at this location in several different places over time and this was definitely the best one! Very well maintained, amazing Sunset from the Lanai, the doors open all the way so it feels very spacious. Would definitely come back here!

  What a great appartment. Beautiful view from the balcony. We had our morning coffee overlooking the harbor every morning. The kitchen was well equipped and even though it did not have a dishwasher it was not a problem for us. If I could have figured out how to get the mattress in my carry on I would have taken it with me. Best night sleep. I would rent this appartment again.

  Arrived around midnight of a long travel day to find our unit to be exactly as pictured. Quick code entry at the door helped us get into the suite quickly. There were 2 nice cold bottles of water in the refrigerator that we needed and appreciated. Shower included a hand held shower head, a feature this “short” person loved. We took advantage of the oven features (including the convection setting) and found the kitchen had every basic thing we would need including coffee maker, toaster, blender, kettle and rice cooker. The king sized bed had a good, comfortable mattress, with a multitude of pillows to choose from. Then there was the lanai. The location of this room makes the lanai an advantageous place to sit almost all day. The sun does not hit this area until later in the day when the sun is on its way down. The sunset views were amazing and the morning rainbows breath taking. We have stayed at the Illikai Hotel previously (another Alii rental suite) and both agree this was our favourite room location because of the lanai. Room has been tastefully updated and the split A/C almost whisper quiet. If you are looking for a central location, walking anywhere from this suite is easy to both Waikiki downtown and then Ala Moana and Foodland. UBER/Lyft always in the area to take you where you want to go which we used to get to and from the airport and then coming back from Foodland with our big grocery shop. We chose to save $ and cook most days, however there are lots of restaurants in this area as well. Overall, the location supported by the awesome lanai makes this rental a 5 star choice.

  We loved our stay here! Clean bright condo in a great location but still quiet. Well equipped with all you need. On the photo of the lanai, there is pictured a table and chairs. Sadly there was only a small coffee table there with chairs. Would have loved a dining table as pictured.....

  this apartment was the nicest place EW have stayed in a mighty long time and we have been coming to Oahu for over thirty years annually. nice view, great staff, and quiet room even though it is right next to the elevator.. we never heard it!!!

  We had a wonderful one week stay in this condo. The unit was nicely finished, bed was comfortable, and the view from the balcony was great. Lots of storage space for clothes and the bathroom had alot of storage space for toiletries, etc. The kitchen was great with really nice appliances. We will definitely stay here again!

  Our 4 days at Ilikai Hotel Ocean-Marina 1 be on the 12 floor was the perfect spot to end our 2+ weeks in Hawaii. After spending 12 days in Maui we ended our vacation in Oahu. The location was ideal, the views magnificent and the condo clean and well equipped.

  My husband and I had amazing time at the Ilikai Condo. The management team was incredible and their communication was awesome. Not only was it a beautiful location, updated and decorated condo suite and the amenities of the complex amazing, it was a great value as well!

  This was a great work/leisure condo for my stay in Waikiki! It was as pictured and had what I needed. The building itself is older, however the unit itself has been nicely updated. Two things to note, the lanai glass door seemed to get stuck and was hard to close at times. Not the units fault whatsoever, but neighbors nearby must be smokers as The lanai would be covered in cigarette ashes... overall I enjoyed my stay here! Thanks!

  Great location with easy access to the groceries, restaurants and the famous Ala Moana shopping mall. The balcony is facing the west so one can enjoy the womderful sunset. The room has a full kitchen with silverwares and plates. I’d like to recommend this place and it’s a good value for longer stays.

  IN general we had a very nice stay at the Ilikai. It was convenient, had a beautiful view of the marina, and accessible to the beach and Waikiki downtown. It was equipped as stated. Two minor things - upon arrival the bed was broken and not made up. I contacted the after hours number and it was replaced/repaired the next day. The TV was difficult to operate and although we didn't go to Hawaii to watch tv, we did what to watch the weather due to the flooding and road closures. The only real complaint is that it took 1-2 days to return messages. However, once they did - the staff was very friendly and helpful. Would certainly recommend it and would stay there again.

  The location was amazing and we so enjoyed starting and ending the day on the balcony taking in the views. Some nights there was music playing by the pool so we got to enjoy that from the balcony as well. The unit was very clean and the bed was comfortable. It was nice having a full kitchen to prepare our own meals and keep a steady supply of cold water available. If I returned to the area, I would look up this location again!

  There are few times that people get exactly what's advertised. That view in the picture is 100% accurate. Many sunsets were watched here. Great condo, good location. Building is a mix of hotel, time-share, and private condo, so the only headache was waiting on elevators during peak times. Other than that, it was a great stay and perfect price.

  We love staying at the Ilikai, and this unit did not let us down. It had all the comforts of home, was clean, and the view was great.
  
  It had a couple of issues too, such as the curtains did not close all the way, they were to short in the width. If you want complete privacy or less light in the morning this would be an issue. The deadbolt on the door did not work, and the toilet had a strange flush where some of the water spilled out when flushing it. Hopefully, they will fix those issues and then have a perfect unit.

  The unit had been recently upgraded. The bathroom and kitchen were very nice. The furniture in the living room and overall decor was ok. The bed was very comfortable but noticed the bed skirt was dirty and should be replaced or washed. Beautiful sunset views every night from the patio. Steps away from the beach, restaurants, shopping, etc. Could not imagine a better location in this area. The building was built and probably absolutely stunning in the 1960's but does not appear to have been upgraded or renovated since. It needs a facelift bad. Had a little misunderstanding about parking, which is not included, however, we thought it was based on the welcome book in the unit. The property management company made it right which I greatly appreciated. Overall it was a great place to socially distance and enjoy the beauty that Hawaii has to offer for a couple of weeks.

  Ilikai is close to Hilton lagoon and beach, as well as on major bus routes. Easy to get around without a car. Marina oceanview is spectacular--watch the F15s take off every morning from the airport.

  We have stayed at the Ilikai a few times now and we love the location so close to Ala Moana Beach Park and the Mall! We had previously stayed on floors 19 and above but now floor 12 is our favourite facing out to Ala Moana Beach Park - stunning view and a lovely shaded lanai for lunch. Plus the condo was very modern and super clean would so book again. Mahalo

  An amazing condo with a wonderful view. We booked it before the makeover happened and arrived to find it beautifully renovated, even nicer than we expected. What a great surprise!

  This condo was fantastic! It was extremely well taken care of, super clean when we arrived. It was perfectly located to allow us to walk to dinner. The only downside was a protest down by the pool during our first night which lasted about an hour. Other than that, it suited our needs while in Hawaii.

  It was our first time in Hawaii and this was the perfect rental for my family of 3. It was conveniently located in the middle of everything and the free parking is super helpful to have. Would definitely rent again and highly recommend to friends and family.

  While I would never describe this unit as a one bedroom, it’s a studio apartment only equipped to sleep 2, for a couple it was perfect. We enjoyed the marina view, could hear the music played down below on the restaurant patio and could walk the strand on the beach.
  The place was clean. A bit less furniture would improve the ambience.

  Another year of a wonderful vacation in Paradise. We stayed for 12 days at this condo and it was perfect in every way! The towels, bedding and cooking utensils were top quality as well as all the other comforts of home (TV, couch, shower and kitchen appliances).. We enjoyed the view each night as the sunset as well as the early morning sunrise with surfers to watch. The location is perfect for quick beach access, swimming pool was super clean and fun as well. We rented a car and had a great time going to the entire island activities with a free parking at the condo. We also walked a short distance to Ala Moana Mall, Target and other stores for supplies when we didn't have the car. See you next year and we look forward to another romantic vacation.

  This is a great, clean, and updated condo perfect for two people or a family with a small kid. The couch is not the best sleeping accommodation for a third person. Our son is 14 and he couldn't fit in the couch. Otherwise, it's a great unit in a superb location. It's right next to Hilton Village so you can enjoy all the shopping, restaurants, and the best beach in Waikiki. If I could, I would give it 4.5 stars.

  We have stayed many times in this unit and it was recently update. The view of marina and airport is spectacular! and the location makes everything in Waikiki very walkable. Recommend Basalts and Trump tower for wonderful happy hours.

  I was very pleased with this unit. The view was great, the place was spotless, everything worked, parking was simple and I never had to contact anyone from the company - it was that easy.
  
  The only complaint I have is this - the instructions in the binder that is located in the unit for how to connect to the wifi are incorrect - they need to be updated. I looked on the router to get the correct name and password so I could get connected. Following what was written in the binder did not work.
  
  All in all it was a great experience.

  We stayed for several days and were very pleased by the accommodations. The whole place has been nicely updated and is very attractive. The A/C blows very cold and there are plenty of towels to use. It’s the perfect size for three people. My only issue was the sleeper sofa- it could have been a little more of a traditional bed- as it is, it’s essentially just a sofa to sleep on. Ultimately it was fine, but a true sofa bed or futon would have been nice.
  
  Overall it’s a great condo and I would recommend it.

  This Unit was classy and relatively new. It had modern facilities and outstanding views. The foyer area was also classy and an added attraction was the various shops downstairs. The King bed was so comfortable and the lounge area was also. I teally enjoyed Cinamon's Restaurant downstairs with great views, cheap drinks and delicious food. The area was beautiful, walking distance to Ala Moana Shopping Centre. All the Local buses, Trolleys and Tour Companies used the hotel as a major collection point for other hotels in the area. The Property Management Team were very obliging and efficient when I needed something. 10 points to them.

  All the instructions were clear but while going up to pick up my parking pass I got stuck in an elevator! Then when parking someone parked in that spot and it was a Saturday but after finally reaching someone I was given another spot!
  Then I forgot to bring the paper with the room access code but security finally got me access !!!
  The rest of the week was perfect ... hotel was clean and just a beautiful vie and I was close to everything ... best ever trip to Hawaii and I will definitely stay there again

  Another great vacation in paradise. We love the proximity to shopping, restaurants and food stores. Love the updates in 1227 of the new king size bed, new towels and lamps. As others have mentioned the carpet really needs replacing or cleaning. The view is unsurpassed and the Ilikai continues to have a special charm that we look forward to.

  Great place to stay, somewhat close to downtown Waikiki. Loved the free parking and restaurant connected to the hotel. The actual room was a little outdated in the kitchen and bathroom, but that wasn't an issue. The shower was a little dirty with some hair on the floor when we first arrived. Comfortable bed and loved the balcony.

  Generally, we were very satisfied by the unit we rented. The parking spot included was a important benefit. The bed was very comfortable and the appliances all worked well and were clean. The view was very nice and the airconditioning was adequate.
  
  Our only concern was a cleaning issue. The apartment needs a good deep cleaning, top of the wall base corners of the shower etc. The carpet needed to be rest retched to take the winkles out and the shower needs work. Having said that, I would rent the unit again

  Had amazing week in Ilikai Apartments. Firstly, best price compared to other waikiki hotels with ocean view. Second, good location next to the Hilton Hawaii village. Just at the very beginning to Waikiki beach. Walkable in 15 mins to Honolulu convention centre if you came to Conference and just 3 mins to the beach. The view is even better than the pictures, I had amazing time having my morning coffee on the balcony, make sure you come back home at least once in time for sunset. The view of sunset from the balcony is just to kill for. The studio has comfy big bed and sofa. I think it is good enough to accommodate at least 3-4 people. The kitchen is fully equipped if you want to save some money and cook at home. There is coffee machine and all other stuff, including beach towel, beach chairs. The apartment was clean, it is not brand new but it gave me some vintage feeling to it so I really enjoyed. There is pool, but who needs that when you have Waikiki beach right there! The Ali's app for check in and all important info is just amazing. The only thing i didn't find is check out button, maybe i just missed it. I didn't need to interact with anyone. Amazing plus my plane arrived early morning and they just let me check in in 7am! It is rare case these days. I really appreciate that! Thank you! Just ask couple of days in advance if the apartment will be free. I had ordered some package to their office address and due to postage mistake it arrived when i was already check out, BUT they nicely agree to ship it over to me. Luckily, I managed to pick it up on my last day in Hawaii. But once again thank you very much Ali'i Rental. I am very experience traveller and indeed it was a very pleasant stay and good service. If i am going to come again I will certainly stay in one of your apartments! PS. Don’t get confused the apartment is located right in Ilikai Hotel & Luxurious Apartments. But it is serviced by Ali’s Rental.

  This was our third year staying in this unit and we love the view and proximity to all the things we like to do. There is nothing like waking up and seeing Magic Island without having to get up.   Although not the first time to the islands, it was our first time at the Ilikai. Great position, good amenities, close to everything. I would definitely stay here again. Ali'i Rentals was easy to deal with...all contact was done via the app. Did not have to contact them at all during our stay. Check in and Check out was easy. Property was as described and was clean and well maintained. We ate at Cinnamon's at the Ilikai (good food, good service) and used the pool when not at the beach. Again, Ilikai staff were great. Ideal position meant that we were within walking distance to Ala Moana Shopping Centre and Waikiki main shopping district. Did a few tours on the Waikiki Trolley around Waikiki, Downtown Honolulu and to Hanauma Bay and Makapuu Lighthouse. All in all, a pleasant holiday experience at the Ilikai.

  We arrived to kind a neat and clean place, ready for us. The room is perfect for two people and the view is magnificent. We stayed four days and had ample supplies to last longer. The room was quiet and the air conditioner worked very nicely to counteract the afternoon sun. This is a place I will happily recommend!

  We stayed at the IIikai hotel with Alii beach rentals . This was our first stay with Alii, but not our first time at IIikai. Our unit was very nice and clean with a million dollar view. Alii beach rentals made our reservation and check in process very easy , and they detailed everything to us before our arrival. The unit was in excellant location with in minutes of everything , beach , resturants, shopping etc. You will not want to leave , great trip !

  Location and view from this condo are nice but over all maintenance and cleaning conditions are not good. Some towels and bedding sheets are too old. Flowers had already been dead when I arrived and 2 light bulbs were broken. A/C panel was fallen off whenever I opened/closed curtain. A maintenance manager came to fix/replace broken light bulbs without notification when I was about to leave and tried to clean some stains on the carpet but it should be treated before a new guest show up. I would recommend this condo to my friend only if these points are improved.

  Initial impressions of room was it was dated but with modern furniture. The bathroom's shower floor was worn and not very pleasant. We worn our slipper taking a shower. It needs to be remodeled! We were advised to empty the ac drip pan due to complaint. But, the drip was coming from above the unit from the rain draining off the floors above. We did reposition the ac pan after the notice in order to comply. The positives were the hotel was where we wanted to be. I would recommend this unit with caution due to the bathroom shower and overall age of the unit.

  What a great time we had at this Ilikai.
  from lanai overlooks the Ala Wai Boat Harbor.
  It was a beautiful view.
  We loved the location - Everything is so close and convenient
  and condo was so quiet.
  we went to Red Robster front of Ilikai. We loved.
  
  No car necessary for this location ,but if need it the parking lot, it's easy to public parking in Horbon which is front of Ilikai condo $20 a day
  so I used.
  We've been to Hawaii more times than we remember, and the Ilikai Condo is the best. We'd go back in a heartbeat!

  This apartment is very convenient to the Hawaii Conference Center, and is also at the west end of Waikiki beach. The condo was as advertised, and clean and comfortable. The kitchen was fully supplied with dishes, utensils, and all necessary equipment. The only nice-to-have that was not included would be a microwave (none was promised in the description). Overall a very pleasant place to stay, and very affordable. I'd definitely recommend this place for consideration.

  I stayed 6 nights at this property while on vacation. It was a "new" end of Waikiki for me but found it to be a great location and was able to do everything I did at the other end of Waikiki. I would recommend this unit to others.

  The location was much better than expected after spending several years directly in Waikiki. The Ilikai building was very bright and clean. We really liked the keyless entry, the very comfortable bed and the storage space was terrific. The updated leather and glass furniture made coming home to the condo pleasurable. We enjoyed the great view and spent lots of time on the lanai. The only negative was the shower floor, which appears to have recently been redone, was peeling from the great water pressure of the shower head. Overall, we were very happy and will be returning next year.

  Since returning to London all I can talk about is my stay in Hawaii and the view from my apartment, it was out of this world. I had a beautiful sea and harbour imagine waking up to that each day bliss. The apartment was quiet, I could have breakfast downstairs if I choose and dinner in the restaurant upstairs in the evening, food in both places was excellent. I am already planning my return trip and encouraging friends to visit Hawaii.

  I rented from Ali Beach Vacation three (3) years ago and this is my 2nd experience renting from Ali Beach Vacation.
  
  This Ilikai hotel/condo is in good shape and it is about 5 minutes walk away from the nearest beach.
  
  If you decide to stay within Honolulu and do not plan to rent a car, it is a good place to stay. The cost of the valet parking is $28/day. If this bothers you, think twice before renting it.

  We truly had a wonderful time! Our trip was all about rest and relaxation! The condo was perfectly situated and we had a breathtaking view of the marina and ocean from our lanai. Our morning coffee on the lanai followed by a leisurely walk along the marina was amazing! The condo had everything we needed and the decor was very tastefully done! The carpets could do with a good cleaning, the drapes may need to be replaced soon and the kitchen is slightly dated but it didn't bother us in the least. The management company was very professional and gave us all the information we needed prior to our arrival. We would definately recommend this condo to a friend and hope to stay there again on our next visit!

  My husband and I stayed here for a week in October 2013. The location is great; easy walking distance to Waikiki main beach or Ala Moana shopping centre. The apartment has gorgeous views and is very comfortable. The service we received from Alii Beach Rentals was excellent. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

  I stay here 3 times a year. Location is the best. Close to fine dining, great shops and beach. The price is a good value yet but still going up :(

  We have vacationed in Honolulu a number of times but never at that end of the beach. The Ilikai was perfect. Ali'i Beach Rentals could not have been more helpful and considerate. The apartment was spotlessly clean and any request we had was met efficiently by the Ali'i staff. The location was perfect, the bed comfortable, the apartment was equipped with everything we needed. We could not have ben more pleased with our whole experience. From our very first contact with Ali'i we found them obliging and helpful. Already two lots of friends have booked there on our recommendation. Location was great being within walking distance of Ala Moana.

  A great condo that had everything we needed. Bed comfy, good size and plenty of towels.

  The location was great - we had a bad bed experience but they replaced mattress same day we complained. Unit should be up grated was build in early 60 was comfortable but not new.
